I have checked the permissions and there is nothing in the intended recipients set up that forwards to her mailbox, any ideas on how I can prevent this from happening as messages go out externally as well as internally?
Many thanks
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
The disconnected mailbox might be still at forward email list of the mailbox.

Are you sure that one recipient doesnt have this user listed as a delegate in outlook?James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

You can use ADSIedit tool to check delegate and forward setting on the problem user.
If you have not removed the delegate setting, when you send the meeting request, it also will forward to the disconnected mailbox.

On the users outlook save all his outlook rules, close outlook and run outlook /cleanrules than test sending again.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Any updates on this?
If you still have issue on that user, please use ldap to export the configuration on that user, then we can know more information about the problem user.
Thanks,
Evan

Hi Evan,
I tried the above and it worked for a couple of test calendar invites but is now happening again, the user in question has been deleted so I am unsure as to how to get the configuration information you require?

Yes and it worked for a couple of days then the bounce messages came back again, she does have access on mobile and also on an additional laptop, so should I run on the laptop as well? would the rules be on the mobile as well? and therefore there is a sync
issue?
Advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again
